Meagan Blazey, WPIG Co-Founder, member since 2008
Meagan works as a Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance. She earned her MSN from Seattle University, MTS from Harvard University, and BA from Boston College. Meagan is the proud mama of Maya, and fur-baby Winston. She enjoys hiking with husband Jay, traveling, and exploring Seattle’s parks with her family.
Alisha Eastman, WPIG Co-Founder, member since 2008
Alisha received her Master of Social Work degree from EWU and received her undergraduate degree from Washington State University. She currently works as a Social Worker at Evergreen Hospital in the Cancer Center, and at Providence Hospital in the Newborn Intensive Care, Labor & Delivery and Pediatrics units. In her spare time, she loves to dance bachata and salsa, custom paint shoes, travel and spend time with family and friends.
Meghan Farragher, WPIG Co-Founder, member since 2008
Meghan has a B.A. in Speech & Media Communications from the University of San Diego and is certified in American Humanics, a national nonprofit leadership certification.
Kym Lee, member since 2009
Kym graduated from the University of Colorado with a B.S. in Civil Engineering and a M.S. in Construction Management. She currently works in real estate development.
Alicia Stedman, member since 2009
Alicia graduated from Gonzaga University with her B.A. in economics and a M.B.A. in finance. She currently works in real estate development.
Nicole Demmon, member since 2010
Nicole is currently a civil litigator at Patterson Buchanan Fobes & Leitch, Inc., P.S. In her free time, Nicole enjoys volunteering in the community, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
Tiffani Lee-Kumabe, member since 2010
Tiffani graduated from the University of Washington in 2007 with a Bachelors of Arts in Communications and Political Science. Originally from Lake Oswego, Oregon, she enjoys skiing, running, traveling, cooking, and trying new restaurants in the Seattle area.
Jen Lyons, member since 2012
Jen Lyons has a B.A. in Media Communications from the University of San Diego. A Portland native, Jen has lived in Seattle for 10 years. She is a small business owner, working as a freelance copywriter and marketing consultant. She loves to travel, having visited 25 countries, and spends her free time wrangling her two high-energy boys, volunteering, doing yoga, and speaking Spanish.
Kay Akanni, member since 2012
Kay Akanni is a first generation Nigerian American, Georgia born/PNW raised,a Buddhist,an abuse survivor with CPTSD, and a lesbian. These very different attributes have come together and have made her uniquely empathetic to people from all walks of life and and varying situations. It has also encouraged to live a life in service to her family, friends, and community. In her spare time, Kay enjoys reading trashy novels, musical theater, crafting, and game nights.
Reeni Nair, member since 2012
Ashreeni (Reeni) is a full time student in pursuit of a Biotechnology/Applied Genetics degree and currently works in the Education and Training department of Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest, as well as a Health and Wellness instructor at the YMCA of Greater Seattle. A member of the Health and Wellness and Cultural Competency Committee, she is heavily involved with bringing diversity and cultural/global awareness to non-profits in how they communicate, interact, and perceive various communities served.
Michelle Rosenthal, member since 2012
Michelle graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, majoring in Digital Media Design. She is originally from New Jersey and currently works as the Director of Product for a Seattle startup called Luum. Michelle enjoys playing tennis, watching unhealthy amounts of television, and attending bar trivia with friends.
Tanya Subcleff Rondón, member since 2012
Tanya earned a B.A. in English and Comparative History of Ideas and Master in Teaching from the University of Washington. She loves teaching English Language Arts and Social Studies to inquisitive and endearing 9th graders. On the weekends, she works as a docent at The Wing Luke Museum of the Asian Pacific American Experience. In her spare time, she enjoys eating all kinds of food, pretending to play tennis well, and traveling/camping/hiking with family and friends.
Jean Baumgardner, member since 2013
Jean graduated from Marquette University in 2009 with a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences and moved to Seattle to complete a Master of Science in Nursing program at Seattle University. Jean currently is working as a Family Nurse Practitioner at International Community Health Services. Jean enjoys running, triathlons, hiking, traveling, rock climbing, Packer’s games, and having fun with family and friends.
Nina Dufore, member since 2013
Nina graduated from Georgia State University with a B.A. in German and a minor in Sociology. She is a military brat who’s traveled all around the US and Europe. Nina’s lived the longest in Atlanta, Georgia, but moved to Seattle seven years ago. She is currently working at GeoEngineers as a Project Coordinator. Nina enjoys reading a good book, going to concerts, is obsessed with her DVR, and has currently discovered a penchant for long walks.
Amy Ludwig, member since 2013
Amy grew up in Boise, Idaho and graduated from Boise State University with a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology. She currently works for an aviation insurance brokerage firm. Amy travels any chance she can get and enjoys baking, crafting, and exploring the Seattle area in her free time.
Brittany McFarlane, member since 2013
Brittany earned a B.A. in 2005 from Gonzaga University where she rowed for the championship women’s crew team as an All-American Scholar. In her spare time, Brittany enjoys hiking, hot yoga, and spending time with her husband Ian and their Australian shepherd Wally. She currently works for a law firm in downtown Seattle.
Chris McRae, member since 2013
Chris earned a B.A. in Psychology from Western Washington University and holds A.S. degrees in Radiologic Technology and Radiation Therapy. She currently works at Evergreen Hospital as a Radiation Therapist. Chris enjoys traveling, hiking, biking, BARRE 3 and SEAHAWKS football!

Sondra is originally from Hawaii, but moved to Seattle to attend the University of Washington, where she graduated with a B.A. in Economics and a minor in International Studies. She currently works as a Project Manager at Amazon.com
Adrian Hodos, member since 2014
Adrian graduated from Scripps College with a degree in American Studies. She studied Political Science at University College London, and lived in Istanbul, Turkey for four years. She currently works at a nonprofit that partners with communities and healthcare providers to ensure the delivery of culturally and linguistically appropriate care. In her spare time, she likes to explore the Seattle restaurant scene, hang out with friends, and travel.
Erin Perry, member since 2014
Erin Perry is originally from Austin, Texas and has a B.A. and M.A. in Teaching from
Trinity University and a MA in Arts Administration from Florida State University. Prior to moving to Seattle in the summer of 2013, she has lived in Texas, Florida, and Washington, D.C. Erin works in Development for a K-8 Independent School in Seattle and has quickly fallen in love with her lovely new city. She enjoys running, baking, and reading in her spare time.
Kelly Williams, member since 2014
Kelly graduated with a B.A. in English from Agnes Scott College and a M.S.W. from Georgia State University. She currently works at the University of Washington in fundraising. Originally from Memphis, Kelly’s hobbies include attending Pure Barre classes, going to happy hours and brunch, and hanging out with her comical dachshund Scooter.
Allison Brock, member since 2015
Allison graduated from DePaul University with a BA in Communications with a double focus on Public Relations/Advertising and Organizational Communication. After 7 years in Chicago, she moved to Seattle in 2014 and across the Sound to Bainbridge Island in 2016. She currently works as a Special Events Manager for a local nonprofit. In her spare time she enjoys wine tasting, home projects and spending time with animals.
Lisanne Chastain, member since 2015
Lisanne is a born & raised Seattleite and graduated from the University of Washington with a BA in Business. She currently works in marketing at Expedia. In her free time she enjoys traveling, being a Seattle sports fan, SIFF film-goer, checking out new breweries and restaurants, anything in the sun, and spending time with friends and family.
Becky Crompton, member since 2015
Becky grew up in Phoenix, AZ and went to school at the University of Arizona where she earned a B.S. in Engineering Management and a M.S. in Hydrology. After graduation she moved to the Seattle area and is currently working at Boeing. She loves to travel, scrapbook, and find great Seattle restaurants.
Danielle Higa, member since 2015
Danielle graduated with a BA in American Ethnic Studies and a minor in Women Studies from the University of Washington. A proud Husky and Seattleite, she also works in fundraising at UW. Danielle is a social butterfly and enjoys snowboarding, traveling, quality time with family and friends, tasting craft beer and wine and hanging out with her Yorkie-poo named Zodi.
Yedida Berretta Valenzuela, member since 2015
Yedida recieved her BS in Education from the U of Oregon. Recently, she graduated from UW with her MA in Italian. She loves teaching Italian to students of all ages and works at various schools, including Seattle University. In her free time Yedida enjoys the outdoors, food, dance and travel. She has traveled to almost 30 countries!

Mandi Davis, member since 2016
Mandi graduated from Marquette University with a B.S. in Education and Spanish. After spending a year volunteering in Ecuador and a few more teaching in Milwaukee, she moved to Seattle in search of warmer weather and mountains. Mandi is currently the K-4 Spanish teacher at Open Window School in Bellevue. She spends her free time salsa dancing, hiking, exploring the city, and having game nights with friends.
Nicolette Hornbeck, member since 2016
Nicolette grew up in Los Angeles, CA and graduated from UC Davis in 2010. She moved to Seattle in 2014 in search of cooler climes, outdoor adventures, and rain. She spends 8 hrs a day working as an HR professional for the City of Seattle. Her other 16 hours are spent either sleeping, volunteering, playing board games, karaokeing, reading, cooking experimentally, swimming, and spending time with friends, family, and her adorable shi-tzu mix Zoey.

Kelly graduated with a B.S. in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Marquette University and an M.A. in Communication Disorders from the University of Minnesota. She is originally from Omaha, Nebraska but has lived in four major U.S cities. Kelly enjoys brunch, running, yoga, nature, traveling, and snuggling with her pup.

Narmeen graduated from University of Baltimore with a B.S. in International Business and an MBA from Seattle University. She was born and raised in Seattle, WA, except for 8 years in Baltimore, MD and 3 years in Pakistan. She is currently working at Microsoft as a Delivery Manager. Narmeen enjoys spending time with her family and friends, loves food, yoga, travelling, shopping and trying new things.
Jamie Plankenhorn, member since 2017
Jamie is a Pacific Northwest living in Portland, Seattle and Spokane while she was at college. She graduated from Gonzaga University with a Bachelors in Business Administration (Marketing concentration). Today she is putting that degree to good use in the Email Marketing department at Zillow. In her free time, she enjoys going on adventures with her husband, daughter and puppies, drinking on patios in the Seattle sunshine and baking cookies for all her favorite people.
