WPIG & Ryther Craft Night
In early November, WPIG members spent an evening volunteering at Ryther Child Center. The kids (and adults!) made fall trees using paint, buttons, and q-tips. As always, the kids showed their creativity and impressed us all.
Ryther offers and develops safe places and opportunities for children, youth, and families to heal and grow so that they can reach their highest potential. WPIG partnered with Ryther in 2010 to 2011. As its partner charity, WPIG learned about the important work of Ryther, volunteered at the organization, and raised funds for the nonprofit as well. Since the partnership, WPIG has continued to volunteer at Ryther each year. It is a favorite among members – making craft with the kids is so much fun!
