2012 Auction Sneak Peek: Rebecca Blume

Rebecca Blume has donated five pairs of her handmade earrings! All are unique and one of a kind. Rebecca uses vintage resins, glass, and various stones to create each individual piece.

“Having studied anthropology at Smith College, I was inspired to travel to Lilongwe, Malawi where I taught AIDS awareness and environmental issues in rural villages for a summer.  My travels have always been a great inspiration for my artwork.  I previously lived in Rome, Italy for a year where art history began to ignite my passion for creativity.

I am currently represented by the Warren Knapp Gallery and my artwork is published in the eighteenth edition of Studio Visit Magazine. My earrings can be found at Panache in Sun Valley, Idaho and in Sell Your Sole Consignment Boutique in Seattle.”
